Many of us might have been told or have seen that the richest and most powerful people in the world are being listed on Forbes,

but can we really believe that? Many may argue that currently, the most powerful men in the world is either Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos. Both men starting from nothing to building a multi-Biliion Dollar Empire. But, does the story really end here?

The truth is that there is great power in Anonymity, and so it has always been this way. There are greater forces hidden in the shadows, and control almost everything we consume from behind the scenes. But why don't we know about them. Well, its simple. They just want it that way, mysterious and Batman sneaky Billionaire style. This may sound like something from a movie but this is very true. The name of the most powerful corporation that controls everything from behind the scenes, is 'BlackRock'.

I mean, literally, Black! Batman! Bruce wayne! The 'B' similarities is just Crazy right?!

So who are these behind the scenes Industry giants that literally run the entire world.
BlackRock was founded in 1988, by Larry Fink

along side Robert Kapito, Susan Wagner, Barbara Novick, Ben Golub, Hugh Frater, Ralph Schlosting and Keith Anderson. At the time, its aim was to provide assets to corporations to help them manage their risk. The idea came around on a dreadful day, when andrew Fink was the head of another business at the time. Unfortunately for him, his business lost 100 million dollars. He got so frustrated because businesses at the time took big risks without
a guarantee of success. So, it was settled. Larry decided to start a Risk management Company with the help of the others, that can help other businesses manage risks by
providing assets to them. But, the only problem was that, they didn't have the funds to get their business going. So they set out looking for potential investors that would be on board with their idea. After days and weeks searching for a potential investor and being rejected many times, they finally met a man named 'Pete Peterson', CEO of 'The Blackstone Group'.

Pete really liked the idea and saw Larry's vision. He thought this could change the way risks were taken in the business world forever. And he was right. He invested 5 million dollars into their corporation and by 1989, BlackRock's assets had quadrupled to 2.7 billion dollars.
In 1992, the firm adopted their infamous batman theme name 'BlackRock' and by the end of that year, BlackRock was managing 17 Billion dollars in assets. Impressive
right?! But this is only the beginning. By the end of 1994, they were handling 53 Billion dollars. And that same year, Larry became the CEO and chairman of 'BlackRock inc'. Then Larry decided to take the company public, for just 14 dollars per Share on the new york Stock exchange. Sometime later again, the company was handling 165 Billion dollars in assets. BlackRock grew more powerful and unstoppable by a series of acquisitions and investments.
In 2004, the company had acquired a very large industry leading company 'SSRM' for 325 million dollars in cash and 50 million in stock. But, parting with this amount of money was like a drop in the ocean for BlackRock. You see, the thing that we don't know is that, various corporations control what we eat, wear, watch, drink and so on. Sometimes, even the government need the help of these corperations. For examples, Coca -Cola. Many of us may not know this, but most of the snacks we eat are just another product or subsidiary of Coca-Cola. Not only Coca-Cola, but even Pepsico. , Nestle and others have dominated the food and beverage industry and we're just
eating from their hands.

This is how it works. These companies are run by a group of board members and shareholder. The largest shareholder takes the winning trophy while earning more money than other shareholders and has the final say in the decision making. Its just like a pathetic Telenovela, where rich family members kill each other to fight their way to the top and get the winning trophy. It can get really bloody too.
Therefore, if you look up who the largest shareholders are in all this squabble, you'll find yet another monopoly. Although, shares change from time to time because they are not constant and are bought off, there are still two companies who still
stay at the top of the list, never moving, not even decreasing slightly. Its just like Hulk trying to lift Thor's hammer, but its impossible. These groups are the 'Vanguard group inc.' and 'BlackRock Inc.'

Most of the largest airline services in the world are even owned by BlackRock. The fuel they use to power planes, are also owned by Blackrock's many petroleum companies. Even the steel that is used to manufacture the plane is owned by BlackRock's steel companies. In the Agricultural sector, BlackRock holds it in its hands like a doll. 'Bayer', the largest seed manufacturing company is owned by BlackRock. The largest textile manufacturing companies, clothing companies, Solar panel production companies, Major drug companies and Scientific Institutes and labs that fund drug studies. Even the largest E-commerce shopping company 'Amazon' is owned by 'BLACKROCK', 'BlackRock', 'BlackRock'... 'BLACKROCK'. Everything is owned by
'BlackRock'.
I know many off us might be uncomfortable hearing this and might decide not to support this Corporation that grows more powerful everyday. But, we can't really do anything about it. Even your credit card, from POS, to bank transfers and Telephone companies are also controlled by BlackRock. So we can't do without them, and they can't do without us. Its more like a toxic marriage, don't you think?

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Federal Reserve system asked BlackRock for help in stabilizing the economic turmoil caused by the pandemic. And they used the dependence of the Federal Government to grow even larger and more powerful, not only
in America, but all over the world. This only made Larry Fink a multi Billionaire.

Even the major News Television stations are owned by BlackRock, and this ownership enables them not to have their company being mentioned to the public. Sneaky right?!
And if i say this one, you won't even want to use the platform anymore. BlackRock owns big tech companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter. And our beloved Walt Disney pictures isn't spared. It owns Disney too! And thanks to their diverse portfolio of major acquisitions and investments, BlackRock owns 90 percent of the
world's media. Well to the public, these companies might seem impressive and powerful, but behind the scenes, they're all just owned by 'BlackRock'.

And its also apparent that the Company has a wealth of data on us. TikTok's library of data, pales in comparison to the amount of data BlackRock has on us, and they can do whatever they please with it.

With the speed and pace of BlackRock's growth, it is apparent that the world is moving towards a 'Dystopian Era', where Corporations
holds more power than even the Government and things like Voting and Freedom of speech will become meaningless.

Well then, how do we escape this Reality?
